The pattern comes with the small flower chart shown on the Waverley bag. It can be included in the body or knit on a swatch which can be added later as a pocket. The pattern is written for two shapes, rectangular or square. The bag accents are left to you.
We used a variety of worsted weight yarns - Donegal Tweed, Patons Merino, Plymouth Tweed, Kathmandu, etc. You may substitute any worsted weight yarn and you can mix brands as felting will even most of it out as long as it is the same weight, 250 - 300 yards needed.
