Inside Out Jacket I'd seen someone in this jacket at a restaurant when we went to Quilt Market in Seattle and asked her what the pattern was. It's not a new one, but it's a new favorite of mine! It was so quick and easy, and I love quick and easy. Use it as a palette for embroidery or embellishment, or just with patchwork, or even plain! It's fun to make, and our new Heritage Rag Quilting Snips makes "shagging" easy. (The designs on mine are from Husqvarna Viking disk #113, "Mega Florals", available from local Husqvarna Viking dealers. I used the Stitch Editor Plus to move the leaves in on the front to fit on the panel. After one of my cats thought the moving Mega Hoop looked like a fun ride and tried it, I realized she'd moved the hoop, and soon I discovered that three leaves were sewn way out of place. Fortunately I remembered something Cindy Losekamp had taught us in one of her seminars here, and pulled out the tools I'd bought, and got it out successfully. No holes! You put the design in a hoop, to have it stretched taught. Then scratch at the bobbin threads with the Ultra-Pro Seam Ripper , turn it over, and pull out the threads with the Thread Tweezers. You need to repeat this until you have all the threads out, but it works beautifully and can save a garment!)
