Summer Tote
Lazy Girl Designs is offering a new adventure in bag-making with Joan's newest pattern, the Summer Tote. Summer is constructed by fusing two layers of fabric together to create the 'walls' of the bag. Steam-A-Seam 2 is used to fuse two layers of quilter's cottons to create a canvas-like fabric with beautiful drape and body. Be sure to select two fabrics with a strong design as shown here. Choose a fun patterned fabric that showcases this large area. The yellow/orange grab tab at the zipper ends are leftover bits of lining fabric. Finish the interior with coordinating fabrics for the lining and pockets. Summer stands 11" tall by 15" wide across the zip-top. Six outside pockets, up to four inside pockets, fully lined.
