Four Corners Apron! This square or 4 corner apron is quick-to-make and perfect for the beginning sewer but clever enough to appeal to all sewers. Selecting the coordinating fabrics is SO easy because it looks good in everything. Whether modern, cottage, Christmas, or barbecue, the apron takes on the personality of the fabric! By the way, it's very comfortable AND flattering! Adjustments in size are made by the length of the neck strap on the apron - 23? to 26? for small, medium, or large. Slightly more fabric is required for the apron if using vertical print fabrics (like stripes) or one-way vertical print fabrics (like chickens). This pattern is selling great for those intending to give an apron as a gift - customizing it for the receiver's personality by using themed fabrics. 47979 $8.00 Click on image for larger view

The Apple Cobbler Apron Pattern Inspired by traditional aprons worn by those terrific "Lunch Ladies" who serve food in cafeterias, the Apple Cobbler apron features stylish details: a notched neckline, "v" hemline, and triangle shoulder tabs. Choose ties or bands with Velcro to close the apron sides. Two generous pockets across the apron front hold gardening supplies, sewing tools, or a cellphone. The open-bottomed front allows for carrying in garden produce or a few pieces of laundry from the clothesline. Decorate the apron front or pockets with the apple applique design included in the pattern. This reversible apron pattern requires two-1 yd. pieces of fabric, or mix and match coordinating fabrics for fun variations. 25603 $6.00 Click on image for alternate view

The Chatterbox Apron Pattern Inspired by a drawing of a vintage apron, the reversible Chatterbox Apron features a sweetheart neckline and an umbrella hemline. The apron side panels are assembled first and inserted into the sides of the front panel and topstitched in place. Pockets are located on each side panel. The neck strap opens and closes with Velcro. Use fabric ties or two-1 yd lengths of grosgrain ribbon for the apron strings. Decorate the apron center front and/or the pockets with appliques, monograms, or machine embroideries. Two-1 yd pieces of cotton fabric are required for this pattern, or just for fun, use a combination of coordinating fabrics for the neck trim and straps as well as the apron bodies. Enjoy making and wearing this apron! 25602 $6.00 Click on image for alternate view

Hot Dish Apron Pattern Inspired by aprons worn by restaurant wait staff, this reversible apron features a "v" neckline and adjustable neck straps either tied together or overlapped with a Velcro closure. Two large pockets, big enough to hold oven mitts or potholders, meet the apron side seams and are offset for interest and for less side seam bulk. An optional small third pocket overlaps one of the large pockets. The "v" neckline can be trimmed with rickrack, piping, a ruffle or other trim. Mary Mulari's suggestion for a flattering apron: select and sew contrasting fabric pockets on either the left or right side of each apron front. On the other side, sew a pocket from the apron fabric so it blends in. When the apron is worn, constrasting fabric on both sides draws the eye across the body at the hip/stomach area. One yard of fabric is required for each side of this reversible apron. For a personal gift, select two cotton prints that feature the interests, work, or hobbies of the person who will receive the apron. In Minnesota, the term "hot dish" refers to a covered dish or casserole often brought to share at a potluck dinner. It seemed to be a good name for an apron, especially an apron with pockets large enough to hold the potholders needed to carry the Hot Dish. 25600 $6.00 Click on image for alternate view

Church Ladies' Apron Pattern This apron pattern was inspired by a vintage 1950's apron with bias tape wrapped edges, a tiny pocket, and a single layer of fabric. The apron was a style commonly worn by ladies serving food in church basements. This pattern updates the style and adds modern, common sense details like double or single pockets sewn at a slant so it's easy to get your hands inside and a neck yoke that can be adjusted for individual fit.The apron is reversible so one yard of fabric is required for each side. Decorate the apron front or pockets with machine embroidery, sew a Velcro closure for an opening in the neck yoke to avoid ruining your hairdo, or mix and match fabrics so that all sections of the apron feature different prints. There's lots of possibilities for this pattern! Make one for yourself and for gifts too. 25598 $6.00 Click on image for alternate view

The Clothespin Apron Pattern It's another reversible apron from Mary Mulari Productions! This chore apron makes it easy to carry supplies while you work, whether you're cleaning, quilting, gardening, crafting or listening to your iPod. A row of pockets across the bottom of the apron adds interesting detail and practicality to this apron. Double yokes for the apron skirt and bib give extra support to the apron when the pockets are full. Rick rack and piping trim provide classy detail at the edges of the yokes and pockets. Options for the apron include making it as a half apron with waist ties or a full apron with a neck loop and waist ties, or long ties extending from the bib, crossing in the back to D rings at the waistline, and then tying. (This last option gives you a full apron with no band rubbing in the back of the neck.) Each apron requires two-1 yard pieces of fabric, or a collection of fat quarters and fabric pieces if you want to mix and match the apron parts. Save time and sewing by using ribbon or twill tape for apron ties. Enjoy making and wearing this reversible apron with its many handy pockets. 25599 $6.00 Click on image for alternate view
