Freaky Friends

Witchy Wanda is approximately 24" tall including her hat, and sits 15". Freaky Frank is the same height and sits 12". Both projects have a stuffed head and body with fabric yo-yos strung together for arms and legs. Their lower bodies are weighted with plastic pellets to make them sit easily. Clover's round Quick Yo-Yo Makers in sizes extra small, small, large, extra large and jumbo were used for creating yo-yos. Also included are instructions and circle pattern pieces to make yo-yos without using a yo-yo maker.

A versatile bag in two sizes - purse or tote. The roomy shoulder bag with a magnetic or button closure is lined and has an interior pocket. The vertical and horizontal seams on both the front and the back lend to the creative use of fabrics. The round flat bottom allows it to sit easily. Use two or more coordinating cotton fabrics alternating them as desired. Or use one fabric and embellish the top half of the bag using needle felting techniques (instructions enclosed). Approximate sizes of the purses (excluding handles) are 19" wide x 13" tall and 22" wide x 16" tall. For a different look a second closure can be added to the bag.

Create this adorable remake of a vintage clown with cotton scraps from your stash like Grandmother did or make it from coordinating quilting fabrics. The yo-yo clown is 10" tall including the hat. The head is created from a stuffed infant sock with an embroidered face and jingle bells were used for the hands and feet. Sizes of Clover Quick Yo-Yo Makers used were Small, Large and X-Large.

Yo-Yo Dachshund

The ruffles can be made using jelly rolls or 2 1/2" strips of your favorite fabrics.
