This Collection features the traditional heirloom techniques of "Lace Shaping" that have been transformed into beautiful embroidery designs using English cotton netting & reverse cutwork applique techniques. These designs include lovely hearts & bows, a beautiful Battenberg style teacup and a silk ribbon insertion border design created with small button holes to simulate heirloom beading which incorporates 1/4" silk satin ribbon for a beautiful effect. For this collection you will need the English cotton netting, Wet N Gone & Heat N Sta tearaway stabilizer. This collection includes a "Free" downloadable "Tonight I'm All Yours" pillow project perfect for anniversary or wedding gifts. 14 Embroidery Designs: 5 for 100mm x 100mm hoop, 6 for 180mm x 130mm (5" x 7" hoop), 2 for 170mm x 100mm (Endless hoop). Embroidery designs include the following formats: ART HUS JEF PES VIP VP3 XXX.

Heirloom Embellishments Vol. 1
Cathedral Lace Windows
This CD includes 9 beautiful designs and features one of Hope's favorite heirloom techniques; Cathedral Lace Windows, which you can do now in the embroidery hoop rather than in the traditional, much more time consuming way. This reverse applique version has romantic scallops and delicate vine roses. 6 of the designs use a large hoop size. (Check your hope size before purchasing, as not all formats support the large designs used on this CD. We cannot accept returns.) Multi-Format CD includes the following formats: ART, CSD, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PCS, PEC, SEW, SHV, VIP, XXX. It's a great addition to Hope's books, Victorian Dreams Heirloom Shirt and Embellished Heirloom Treasures, above. You can substitute the instructions for the cathedral lace windows from the book with this embroidered version and the heart design can also be substituted and 6 strands of floss can be woven in the wing needle holes.
