Clover Mini Iron
I mentioned the Clover Mini Iron when we first got it, but I hadn't used mine yet. It is advertised to be good for detail pressing, stained glass bias application, pressing seams, even paper crafts. Then I started using mine on the center part of my Federation quilt, and I haven't been as excited about a new tool since I can't remember when! You can get it hot enough to fuse appliques, and you can put heat where you want it and not where you don't. Now I'm convinced that it's a "must" in every sewing and craft room.

Stencil Burner
If you're doing embroidery on tulle or organdy to be able to cut it out as a free standing embroidery, the easiest way is to use a stencil burner! Just move right around the edges. HINT- do it before you take it out of the hoop! It comes with a little stand, and you can clean it with your regular iron cleaner.
