Beyond Color Purple is an embroidery design CD from Jenny Haskins that takes advantage of the larger hoop size that most new embroidery sewing machines have. The CD comes with 16 new and original designs that have been digitized so that many different techniques can be achieved with the one design. The CD includes instructions on how to do applique embroidery, layered applique, template and multi template placement, reverse sheer applique and shadow applique. These designs have been used in Jenny's quilt of the same name - and the complete instructions for it are in Creative Expressions Issue 1 and Issue 2.
