Freaky Friends
by Indygo Junction
Witchy Wanda is approximately 24" tall including her hat, and sits 15". Freaky Frank is the same height and sits 12". Both projects have a stuffed head and body with fabric yo-yos strung together for arms and legs. Their lower bodies are weighted with plastic pellets to make them sit easily. Clover's round Quick Yo-Yo Makers in sizes extra small, small, large, extra large and jumbo were used for creating yo-yos. Also included are instructions and circle pattern pieces to make yo-yos without using a yo-yo maker.

To The Moon
Early American penny rugs originated during the Civil War and were used as decorative covers for tables and mantles. With templates inspired by coins of the era, they were made from any scraps of wool that could be salvaged (during those tough times even a piece of wool the size of a penny would not go to waste). The circles of wool were used to create endless design variations. This penny rug is easy to sew and makes a great project for the fall. Use your favorite hand-dyed wool and create an heirloom that your grandchildren will cherish. 25" x 20"
