Grid Grip Design Sheets
Cut out templates with paper scissors. Place the templates onto the wrong side of fabric with the poly coated (shiny)side of the paper down. Align the built-in grainlines of the templates with the straight of grain and crosswise grain of the fabric. Press templates onto the wrong side of fabric,using a dry iron (no steam)on medium hot setting. Add 1/4 inch seam allowance along all edges of the templates by (1) draw a line 1/4 inch from edge of template using a clear ruler and pencil. Cut out pieces with scissors. (2) Use a rotary cutter and clear ruler add 1/4inch seam allowance while cutting. Align right side of fabric pieces together. Machine piecing- remove template on bottom piece of fabric, stitch along edge of top template for accurate stitching guide.Hand piecing- use pencil to draw around template edges, peel off templates and stitch fabric on pencil line.TIPS-GridGrip paper can be placed over template patterns in books and magazines to trace. Needle Puller
Directions for use:
1. Place the needlepuller on a finger on the hand with which you quilt, for example: on the pointing finger.
2. The pushbutton is pointed to the thumb.
3. When you have some stitches on the needle, slide the eye of the needlepuller over the needle; now the needle sticks through the needlepuller.
4. Push the button with your thumb and pull the needle through the fabric.
5. Release the push-button.
6. While you are quilting, you can leave the needlepuller on your finger.
