The new Cutting Edge tool is great! You put it on the underside of the ruler to mark where you want to cut, and butt the edge of the fabric against it! One of those "why didn't I think of that?!" kinds of tools.
Directions: Apply to under side of ruler at desired rule line. Line up Cutting Edge with trimmed edge of fabric. Check other alignments if necessary, then cut. Store on ruler for future use. (10) 3/8" x 3 3/4" strips.

Sometimes it can be a real challenge to hold your plastic ruler in just the right spot while cutting fabric. And if you happen to slip with the blade, you could end up cutting yourself. Ouch! The Little Gypsy Gripper
At only 2 1/4" in diameter, The Little Gypsy Gripper is perfect the perfect size for use with your smaller templates. The heart shaped handle fits two fingers perfectly & it has a single strong suction cup with the handy lock and release lever. Just press to any plastic ruler with a smooth surface, then flip the lever to lock in place. When you need to switch to another ruler, just flip the locking lever to release. It will work on any smooth surface rulers at least 3" wide that don't have any slots or holes in the areas that will be covered by the suction cup.
