She didn't like a blind-hem or decorative stitching method, binding applied to the back and brought to the front, nor the placemat style binding featured by using odd after-market sewing machine feet. And she certainly didn't have time to hand stitch a binding to the back of the quilt. After years of searching, she developed a technique to create a tight, traditional 1/4" binding by machine. This innovative technique features lumpless seams and perfectly mitered corners. Binding stitches are nearly invisible on the front and top-stitched on back with remarkable accurary and ease. Bind a queen quilt in just 2-3 hours.
