Suzanne believed there had to be a way to apply a beautiful machine binding. She didn't like a blind-hem or decorative stitching method, binding applied to the back and brought to the front, nor the placemat style binding featured by using odd after-market sewing machine feet. And she certainly didn't have time to hand stitch a binding to the back of the quilt. After years of searching, she developed a technique to create a tight, traditional 1/4" binding by machine. This innovative technique features lumpless seams and perfectly mitered corners. Binding stitches are nearly invisible on the front and top-stitched on back with remarkable accurary and ease. Bind a queen quilt in just 2-3 hours.

Note from Erica: These can be used when gluing binding as suggested in the Perfect Binding DVD, #33483 and Curved Binding, #36700. These tips (33086) for the Elmer's School Glue (completely washes out and is perfect for this application!) I took the knitting needle point protectors from the Yarn department (26752) to put over the top. That way I don't have to wash out the tip all the time!
