Choosing Fabric: Pick a theme fabric with lots of color. Pick braid colors to match the theme fabric. It can come out of your stash or you can use this wonderful pattern as an excuse to buy new fabric. Number of 2 1/2" Strips: You need a total of 40 strips for a twin or 50 strips for a queen. You can use fat quarters without additional piecing. One fat quarter or quarter yard cut will yield the equivalent of 3 strips. Finished Sizes: Twin- 72" x 80". Queen- 88" x 80".
