Machine Quilting Unlimited Vol.2, No.4/Winter 2008 Sarah Ann Smith continues her lessons on the basics-this time she walks us carefully through the minefield of tension adjustments in her article Taking the Tension Out of Tension. Sarah's detailed information removes the fear of actually touching and adjusting that dial. Cyndi Souder starts our journey into Foundations with a look at preparing the layers, the foundation of all machine quilting. Not sure where to start when faced with a blank quilt top? Diane Doran offers us a look at advanced designing in Enhancing the Quilt. And if you have ever been frustrated with photographing your quilt, whether for a show entry or just your own records, Barb Tricarico gives us invaluable help in her story, How to Photograph Your Quilt. Patt Blair shares her wonderful quilt Endangered as our JawDropper. Stepping out of the 'how-to' mode, but certainly still educational. 37762 $8.00 Click on image at left for contents view

Machine Quilting Unlimited Vol.2, No.3/Summer Fall Sarah Ann Smith has agreed to be a regular contributor to Machine Quilting Unlimited, starting with this issue. Sarah is a highly respected and sought-after teacher. Cyndi Souder is back, and will also be a regular contributor. Cyndi's story this time is how to overcome your fear of machine quilting. Available now is free-motion information from Patsy Thompson, and more thread painting from Cathy Franks! The Product section gives you an update on new sewing machines and familiar cutting tools. We also talk about a software program, Kaleidoscope Kreator. It is a fun, creative package that will add a definite art feel to your quilts, and keep you planted in front of the computer for hours, just playing! 37761 $8.00 Click on image at left for contents view

Machine Quilting Unlimited Vol.2, No.2/Summer 2008 In the last issue Cindy Roth did a terrific article on loading a quilt on a frame. This time Renae Haddadin tells how to square a quilt for machine quilting. This article was previously published in the sister magazine, Unlimited Possibilities, and it was the single most popular article ever printed. Renae was kind enough to allow a reprint. The Product section gives you options for lighting this time. Corinne Hammett researched the various systems available for home quilters. Maureen Waite test drove the new EQ6 software from the Electric Quilt Company, with a side note from Corinne about the changes from EQ5. Read about all the new features and how it is useful for machine quilters, not just quilt top piecers or designers. And Cyndi Souder adds a look at Podcasts and how this internet option has enhanced our quilting experience, and Shirley Stutz tells you how to layer a quilt using the quick and easy fusible method. 37760 $8.00 Click on image at left for contents view

Machine Quilting Unlimited Vol.2, No.1/Spring 2008 Meander Publishing is based in Northern Colorado, which seems to be a hot-bed of quilting activity. In this issue, Gwen Hatchette and Kit Robinson, both from Fort Collins and both amazing quilters are featured. We hope you enjoy their quilts as much as we do. The Jaw Dropper quilt is from a fellow Rocky Mountain Creative Quilter Guild member, Mary McCauley. 37759 $8.00 Click on image at left for contents view
