These HOMESPUN magazines are wonderful inspirations!

 Magazine Cover Australian Homespun
Vol. 15-04, April 2014

Some of the projects in this issue:
Using a treasured quilt form the 1800s as inspiration, Robyn Evans designed one modern block as the foundation for a range of craft projects (page 32). Roslyn Mirrington translates the raw beauty of outback shearing sheds into three coordinating projects (page 42). Also, Karen Pior runs rings around other crochet rugs and comes up with a series of multicoloured circles, many with centres of bright white (page 54).

 Magazine Cover Australian Homespun
Vol. 15-03, March 2014

The charm of the crocheted bunnies (page 40) is in the mix of blokey and baby innocence. Despite the apparent contradiction of manly overalls and sweet pastel colours, the finished project will be a winner with children. Also, there are far more heartfelt ways of picking up your pots than cold-blooded padded blocks (page 63). Cintia Gonzalez proves it by recycling blanket fabric into practical kitchen aids that you’re going to love every time you use them.

 Magazine Cover Australian Homespun
Vol. 14-8, August 2013

Breathe new life into little leftovers, small scraps, and otherwise wasted remnants with clever ideas that demonstrate your creativity. Also, all the romance of a cottage flower bed is sweetly translated to Jacqueline Morel's beautiful patchwork quilt. Alive with color and pattern, you'll love hand quilting it with simple tulips and corner bows.
