Special Edition: Prayer Garden
Prayer Garden consists of 94 different blocks that are combined together to create a beautiful quilt. The designs range from bible verses to cute animals and gardening scenes. Each of the designs is truly different. The unique part is that the blocks are all different sizes. There are large and small squares and large and small rectangles that combine to make large blocks. Sixteen of these large blocks are then combined to make the large quilt. If you create the largest size quilt the top will be 64"x64". Each of the blocks have a folded fabric border. When they are combined you will have a truly unique project. The designs were all digitized with a hand style running stitch. Instead of a single pass, these make 5-7 passes. The stitches look much thicker when they are complete. Even the large designs have low stitch counts so this is a fast running project. New is fabric painting. After the designs were embroidered, go back and add highlights with fabric markers! They will tell you everything you need to know about creating this quilt and even give you tips on painting fabric!

Floral Cutwork (56 Designs)
Each flower and bracket comes in two different sizes. How do you embroider the flowers and brackets together? For those of you that have a new machine with a large hoop you can use your software to merge all three designs together and send them to your machine. If you have a machine that cannot embroider the larger size you can use templates to line all of your designs. There is a tutorial included in the "tutorials" folder on the CD-Rom called "The Template Tutorial". This tutorial will show you how to combine and embroider designs together. Dragon Tile Scene
This is a six block tile scene that comes in three file sizes; a small size for the 6"x10" hoop, a medium size for the 7"x12" hoop and a large size for the 8"x12" hoop. This tile scene includes an embroidered border to frame the finished design. The border consists of ten different segments to surround the dragon as a framed work of art. It's done in a tone on tone to simulate a carved effect when viewed from a distance. The border designs each have an outline/framing stitch so they are easy to piece together. Also included are the framing stitches for the mitered corners!

Pandas (28 Designs)
The patterns and tutorial are located on the CD Rom in the tutorials folder. This is an easy quilt to create; all of the Panda bears were embroidered on a mint colored flannel. Once they are embroidered we trimmed them into squares and then stitched the individual squares onto the background fabric. This technique eliminates conventional piecing. You can then embellish the squares with ribbon or rick-rack.

Instead of standard straight blocks they created a slash pattern as a background using pastel marbled flannels in shades of blue and lavender. The background is created first and then the penguins are embroidered. You can place as many penguins as you like on it. Of course these designs would look beautiful on clothing as well. Homespun Christmas (40 Designs)
Hand embroidery has made a huge resurgence this year and this gives you a hand embroidered applique look, except it will be done on your machine. The collection consists of traditional felt applique designs and running stitch designs. The felt designs are created using a blanket stitch technique with four layers of cotton thread. The four layers create a thick yarn like look and the use of a blanket stitch is a traditional hand technique. The process used to create the applique is very simple. The running stitch designs are unique as well; instead of a two-layered stitch they are created using seven layers for a thick beautiful look. This collection has four different themes with approximately 18 designs in each theme. Most of the large designs are applique, so the stitch counts aren't as high as you may think. The paisley designs look great on both clothing and on home decor items. The first theme consists of purple paisleys embellished with pansies.
