Notes from Cathy: "I backed the runner with Pellon Fusible Fleece that I cut to fit between the toweling hems, then whip stitched the edges down. The pattern calls for using 6 strands for much of the embroidery, but I used 3 strands (6 seemed too bulky) - there is enough floss in the pack for doing 3 strands, but if you want to do 6 you will need one more skein (of the white at least)."
