Delicate flowers in beautiful shades of wool are scattered along the edge of this elegant table runner. Hand-dyed wools are used for some of the flowers. The raised edges of the blossoms creates a wonderfully unique table decoration. You can make it the length you desire from 36" to 48". To The Moon
Early American penny rugs originated during the Civil War and were used as decorative covers for tables and mantles. With templates inspired by coins of the era, they were made from any scraps of wool that could be salvaged (during those tough times even a piece of wool the size of a penny would not go to waste).
